Our Volunteers are Ready to Help You!

We may not be professionals, but we have years of experience behind us.

Formed in 1978, we still have a few of our experienced Founders to lead us. Many have left us to be with their ancestors and talk among the stars. Fortunately, they passed on their torch of knowledge before going. Their legacy lives on in the information they helped compile and the wisdom they shared with the remaining volunteers.

We can search for the items you requested, and may even know where to find more information to help with your research.

Questions that can be answered in a few minutes, we may not request a fee. But, if the request will take hours, we will contact you first explaining the situation before going further. We may even request partial payment before starting.

What We Offer

Membership

Membership to the Adams County June logical society is $15 per year. Each member will receive our buy annual newsletter, discounts on publications through the year, and the opportunity to submit quarries in the newsletter. Download our Membership Form and mail it in today!

Queries

Members can submit a query in our Spring/Summer newsletter by completing the query form and mailing it in to us by March 15 of each year.

Publications

We offer many different publications and books for sale. download our most recent publication list to make a purchase by mail.

Research Assistance

Our research fee is $25 (non-refundable), and includes 2 hours of research and up to 20 copies. Additional research hours will be billed at $10/hour and additional copies at $0.25/copy. Per your specific request, we can also conduct lookups on the computer (i.e., Ancestry, FamilySearch, Fold 3) for those without computer access or memberships to those sites. If your request requires that we go to the courthouse or the health department to research deeds (all Adams County deeds still exist) or other records post 1910, there will be an additional $10 charge and the cost of copies as charged by the courthouse or health department. This must be discussed and approved prior to us researching offsite.

Obituary look ups are $3 each.
